A cozy escape on the Camino
The hotel is great location near the historic fort and right on the Camino route. I appreciated the spacious room with a lovely balcony, and the breakfast options were excellent, with both hot and cold selections.
Some decor felt dated, hinting that updates could enhance the experience.

Location near Camino trail, proximity to restaurants and shops, historical significance
The place has some serious maintenance issues!!! The decor is stuck in the early '90s, and odd odors linger in the hallways. A major upgrade is needed to fix stained tiles and threadbare carpets!!!

The room was great modern and well-maintained with an exceptionally comfortable bed and with a bathtub. Location: the hotel was close to a taxi and attractions and restaurants and the fort for drinks.
The staff were a bit rude, didn't expect that coming.

Staying at Lara was mostly enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right on the Camino route, and directly across from the historic fort. The room was spacious, with a lovely balcony that offered nice views. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast with an excellent spread with many options, including hot and cold items. There were a few hiccups. The air conditioning was a bit temperamental, only blowing warm air even when set otherwise. The dining experience could use some improvement, as there was a mix-up with dinner timing. Dinner started later than advertised. Staff was friendly, though sometimes it seemed like there was a lack of communication during busy periods. Nonetheless, I appreciated the variety of toiletries and the cleanliness of the room.
