A cozy escape on the Camino
The hotel is perfectly located near the historic fort and right on the Camino route, making it an ideal stop for pilgrims. I appreciated the spacious room with a lovely balcony, and the breakfast options were impressive, featuring both hot and cold selections.

Location near Camino trail, proximity to restaurants and shops, historical significance
The place has some serious maintenance issues!!! The decor is stuck in the early '90s, and odd odors linger in the hallways. A major upgrade is needed to fix stained tiles and threadbare carpets!!!

A fair review – pros and cons
The location is unbeatable, right on the Camino across from the fort, with cozy beds and fantastic breakfast options.
Inconsistent breakfast service and dated decor diminish the overall experience.

Staying at Lara was mostly enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right on the Camino route, and directly across from the historic fort. The room was spacious, featuring a lovely balcony that offered nice views. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had an excellent spread with many options, including hot and cold items. However, there were a few hiccups. The air conditioning was a bit temperamental, only blowing warm air even when set otherwise. Also, the dining experience could use some improvement, as there was a mix-up with dinner timing. dinner started later than advertised. Staff was friendly, though sometimes it seemed like there was a lack of communication during busy periods. Nonetheless, I appreciated the variety of toiletries and the cleanliness of the room.

I had a fantastic time with my friends at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was super helpful. We explored the local fort and nearby shops, all within walking distance. It was nice not needing cabs or transport. Definitely recommend for a group getaway!
However, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t very effective and could use improvement, as we struggled with the temperature.

The location is ideal, right on the Camino with quick access to local shops and eateries. The breakfast featured a variety of fresh vegetables, enhancing the experience. However, air conditioning issues made the room quite uncomfortable, and the decor left much to be desired, feeling outdated and in need of a refresh. Despite these drawbacks, the spacious room with a lovely balcony offered nice views, making it a pleasant stay overall.

Excellent location and spacious rooms
I had a great experience staying here with its perfect location right on the Camino route and just across from the historic fort. My room was spacious and included a lovely balcony that provided nice views. Plus, the buffet breakfast was impressive with a variety of options. One thing I'd suggest for improvement would be better ventilation in the bathrooms, as they tended to smell a bit damp at times.
